Sales boost for Iceland Foods

Very impressive results from Iceland Foods with sales growth exceeding the UK average, with further growth to come from structural shifts towards greater home working inflating shopping baskets.

  • 16.2% increase in sales to £3.7bn

  • 32% growth in EBITDA to £176m

  • 2.4% UK grocery market share (2020: 2.2%)

  • 20 new stores mostly under the Food Warehouse brand – 993 stores in total

  • Omnichannel Store estate delivering over 1m slots per week – 86% of UK covered

  • Strategic supplier alliance with The Range delivering strong results
